ABOUT US
Friends of Venice Boardwalk is a pro bono group of committed community members working to make sure that our treasured park thrives for generations to come. We envision a park environment that is clean, safe, and joyful with recreational and cultural opportunities for all ages.
The Venice Beach Boardwalk is a uniquely challenging location. We recognize that LA Recreation and Parks, LA City, and LA County simply don’t have the capacity to meet all of the complex needs of our park. Our purpose is to provide leadership and resources to bridge the services gap.
OUR MISSION
To ensure fair, safe, and equitable access to the park’s open space and recreational activities and to sustain the vibrantly welcoming character of our world-renowned boardwalk – including its irreplaceable culture and exceptional history.
OUR VISION
We see a bright future for our boardwalk park! It’s a place where people come to live their dreams and let their imaginations take flight. By working together, we can make sure that Venice boardwalk park continues to be a place of joy and inspiration to the entire world.
